The McMurry Science and Mathematics Advisory Board assists the University by offering advice, sponsoring educational projects, providing assistance, recruiting students, and funding activities that would benefit McMurry, the faculty, and the students.

Highlights from our last meeting:

Dr. Fabrizio described plans to transition to Division II and the value this will bring to McMurry with higher academic standards in athletics! He also explaine how the expected 40%cuts in TEG ended up only being 28%.

Two new members were approved by the board: Dr. John Bloznack and Dr. James St. Clair. We'll welcome them to their first meeting in the spring!

At the conclusion of the meeting, members joined a large group of science and math students for lunch - a lot of good one-on-one quality discussions between the students and members about the students career aspirations. This was very well received by the students and will be a recurring event after each fall meeting.
